With the regular season wrapped up, the Hawkeyes are losing a young player in cornerback Joshua Turner to transfer, however.Turner, a Delray Beach, Fla. native, was a member of Iowa’s 2017 recruiting class.247Sports’ composite rankings had him as the No. 1524 player in the country. He was the No. 160 cornerback in the class, and the No. 219 player in the state.While the rankings don’t blow you away, Turner did have other big programs after him. He finished the regular season with five total tackles.When it came to injuries at his position, some younger players on the Hawkeye roster got the shot to play in the defensive backfield ahead of Turner.Iowa finished the season with an 8-4 record, and in second place in the Big Ten West. The Hawkeyes will be heading to a blow for the sixth straight season.last_img
